![]() Given that, there may be better options if you don't have these issues (eg. My overall pool of sunscreens has been rather limited because I have pretty aggressive reactions to Octisalate and Niacinamide (this was fun to figure out the hard way) and am somewhat olive toned, so very susceptible to white casts. One caveat: This is def a solid option for casual exposure daily sunscreen however, with a ~16 PPD I prefer stronger sunscreens for higher exposure days. I get genuinely excited when it’s a day I get to use this sunscreen (like today once I stop scrolling Reddit and get out of bed yay!) But 5 months into tret, the improved skin texture + Purito Daily helps me reach the closest I’ve been to glass skin status. ![]() ![]() My skin type is generally pretty regular, sometimes oily pre-tret if I used this pre-tret I prob would’ve been a grease ball. I’d say that it’s moderately moisturizing as well I still used a moisturizer before this because my skin has been really dry since I got on retinol.įrom my understanding, this is a “hybrid” sunscreen that has both chemical and physical filters, which is a big win for me since I prefer physical sunscreens but hate the horrendous white casts that they all seem to have. There seems to be no pilling under my light make up. I chose PURITO mainly for their cruelty-free status but they really came through with this revamped sunscreen and met all my criteria! It applies smoothly and absorbs very quickly, drying down to a glowy/dewy finish that isn’t sticky at all and does not make you look overly greasy.
